Yoga philosophy and asana can help us become aware of, disrupt, and clear out binary gender, so that we can expand into deeper, more integrated, joyful embodiment and sense of Self. Let's gain inspiration, insight, and practical tools to create more affirming, inclusive yoga spaces. We will unpack how harmful binary gender norms show up in mainstream yoga classes, and gain practical skills to shift your yoga spaces to be more welcoming and affirming to trans and nonbinary folks.
This workshop will be taught by Avery Kalapa (they/them).
